4 days left of our challenge & then I’m off to banana island to join the lovely @gabriellevinden who is doing 30 days!!! I’ll only be doing 10 days & was wondering who else wants to join. You can do it for 3, 5 or as many/little days as you want. Just bananas, cucumbers, celery, baby greens, cinnamon, carob & vanilla. Last time I did it for 5 days and it was so fluffing awesome: good sleep, optimum digestion, clear glowing skin & feeling completely vibrant & energetic. Hope to see you there!
Whilst this may look boring for some, it’s so tasty & delicious to me. I’m still amazed at how much my palate has changed since I started eating more raw foods. I no longer find the need to cover my food with tons of flavourings because what I eat tastes amazing! Really craved some greens as I didn’t have them at breakfast so decided to add some to delicious & plump figs, super sweet strawberries and of course, bananas! A squeeze of lemon juice tied it all together nicely. Happy munching! 😋
I know it looks a bit like canned spaghetti but this was so yummy and filling. Zoodles with a spicy tomato & walnut sauce and a simple salad of baby spinach & red onion. For the sauce blend 1/3 cup raw walnuts, 1/3 cup sun dried tomatoes (no oil), 1/3 cup of red capsicum, 1/3 cup of carrot ( I used purple because that’s all I had but orange would give it a more appealing colour), 1 tbs of fresh basil, 1/4 tsp of chilli flakes (or more to taste), 1 tbs hemp seeds, 1/3 cup water. Blend it all together but keep it chunky! Stir through your zoodles and devour!!! Don’t need to add salt, the dried tomatoes are naturally salty x
Sorry for my lack of posts yesterday, but I wasn’t feeling very hungry so just ate mono meals for breakfast & lunch and some salad & sweet potato mash for dinner. I like mono meals because they’re easy, specially when you’re not feeling creative or are having a lazy day! This morning I’m enjoying another green smoothie, just frozen bananas & baby spinach with a squeeze of lemon juice & topped with more banana, coconut flakes & a few raspberries. Keeping it simple & will probs be having more mono meals & green smoothies for breakfast as they are no brainers! Hope everyone is going well.
